Tired of the Pressure to Be the Perfect Parent?

With Mother’s Day upon us here in the U.S., we want to offer you a gentle reminder.

One that can so easily get drowned out in the noise of expectations, comparison, and pressure…

You don’t have to be perfect.
You don’t have to get it all right.
You just have to keep showing up. With love, with curiosity, with courage.

Good parenting isn’t about never making mistakes.
It’s about being present.
It’s about repair after the hard moments.

It’s the giggles over breakfast, the hugs at bedtime, the willingness to try again… even when you're tired.

So whether you’re being celebrated this weekend or simply holding it all together behind the scenes, we see you.

You're doing one of the most important, invisible, and beautiful jobs in the world. And it matters.

A Simple Practice: Celebrate the Wins

Each night this week, take a quiet moment before bed to name one thing you did well as a parent.

It doesn’t have to be big.

Maybe you softened your voice instead of raising it.
Maybe you offered a hug instead of a lecture.
Maybe you laughed together. Or maybe you took a breath and chose connection, even when it was hard.

Whatever it was, let it count.

Remember it. Feel it. Celebrate it.

These small moments? They’re shaping something beautiful.
