We do conduct an admissions interview for all of our students. This allows us to make sure that: 

#1, There’s a values alignment. 

We advocate for peaceful parenting, which means that the goal is to parent effectively without yelling, punishing or threatening. While we make this shift gently (it takes as long as it takes) it matters to us that this is your goal and/or vision, too! 

#2, You have the time and commitment to complete the training program. 

You must have 5-7 hours per week available for the next 7 months to commit to this program. Your weekly commitment includes your weekly 1-hour cohort call, your weekly 1-hour Practice Coaching Circle Call and time to watch the weekly videos and complete the written assignments. 

Additionally, after week 12 of your certification training, you’ll need another hour a week to work with your Practice Client. Because we are huge advocates of the small cohort training model, your presence matters. You’ll learn as much from your fellow cohort members as they will learn from you, through witnessing, holding space and practicing coaching. 

#3, You’re set up for success.

Your admissions advisor will help you to create your personal goals and outcomes for the program, including what you want for your own family! We’ll also help you find an upcoming cohort that works best for your schedule and choose the tuition option that makes the most sense for your personal circumstances. 

There are several key aspects to giving you the confidence and competence to thrive as a Jai Certified Parenting Coach. 

Knowledge

Think of our program as a master’s degree in Transformational Parenting. You’re going to learn attachment science, nervous system science and the language of feelings and needs. You’ll gain exposure to proven coaching methodologies that allow us to do the profound work of allowing people to grow and transform as parents. 

This component of our program is delivered in your learning management center through weekly training videos, reading assignments and written exercises. You can download our program syllabus here.

Practice

Within your coach training cohort you’ll be placed in a smaller group, your Practice Coaching Circle. Each week, you’ll be given specific practice exercises that support the weekly content. You’ll practice coaching and be the practice client for your fellow coaches-in-training, so that you can learn these new skills. 

In the second-half of the training, you’ll take a practice client through the 12-week Transformational Parenting Process so that you can get feedback and support, while gaining confidence in the work. 

Mentorship

Each cohort is led by a Jai Master Coach & Trainer. Our trainers are passionate advocates of this work, who will be there to support you every step of the way. You’ll learn so much from witnessing your trainer coach your fellow cohort members, while also having profound personal breakthroughs as they coach you. 

Our published tuition is $4750 for the seven-month certification program. We offer generous fast-action discounts, pay-in-full tuition incentives and long-term payment plans.

If you are not 100% satisfied with your decision, we will fully refund your tuition within the first 30 days of starting your cohort after completing an exit interview with our Director of Client Services.
